Mar.- BYU Management Society membership drive
- The Goal of the society is to "Promote Moral & Ethical Leadership Worldwide." Anyone who shares that goal is welcome to join the Las Vegas Chapter.
Annual Membership Dues: $50
NEW MEMBERS: JOIN BY 3/31 AND GET FIRST LUNCH FREE!
(have to attend by June 11 luncheon)
Monthly luncheons: $30 for Non-Members / $25 for Members

June 30, 2010- Due date for scholarship applications.
August 8- Evening of Excellence to announce scholarship recipients and freshmen kickoff at the home of Larry and Tracey Long (chapter chairs). More information to follow.
Fall 2010- Annual Rex E. Lee Golf Tournament
Fall 2010- Annual BYU football game, fireside and tailgate party. More inforation as schedule becomes available.

To become involved on the BYU Alumni board for the LV chapter and help with activities, please contact Tracey Long at 873-5664. A representative for each stake in LV is needed to help disseminate chapter event information.

Please remember that this is not the alumni group and previous attendance at BYU is not a requirement for membership. BYU simply sponsors the organization.

Ron has workedin radio and TV news for more than 30 years. He was a journalism major atBrigham Young University, and began his career in the late 70's as a host ofhis own radio shows in Southern California and Salt Lake City.
Ron's first TVjob was as a general assignment reporter in the early 80's at the ABC stationin Salt Lake, then anchored news and sports in Yakima, Washington at the NBCaffiliate. In 1984 Ron moved to Las Vegas where he was the sports director andanchor at the ABC station. In 2003 he was moved from sports to morning newsanchor where he took the newscast from 4th place to number one by beingconversational and honest with the viewers.
Currently, Ronhosts a local radio show and owns his own media relations company, additionallyrunning his popular Las Vegas web site, LocalsLoveVegas.com
